This Sunday morning, we’ll be continuing our sermon series in the book of James. This week, we’ll be in James 3:1-12 considering the manner in which true faith speaks. The theological theme (concerning God) explores how God speaks to create and redeem the world. The anthropological theme (concerning humanity) will explore how true faith from a redeemed heart leads to redemptive speaking. Be mindful of these themes as we read, sing, pray, and preach God’s Word.
Below is the sermon outline and our order of service. We’ve included the texts for specific stanzas or scripture references below that we believe will prove especially edifying for you. Use it as a guide to prepare yourself to sing, pray, and hear God’s Word in our gathering.
